I have watched Fall drift in this past week.
Every morning there are more amazing colors in the trees, and that chill in the morning air that turns into lots of warmth later in the day.
This morning it is raining which does not really help the Harvest time on the Canadian prairies.
And yet, we have no floods, hurricanes, or earthquakes surrounding us, even though we have been affected by the smoke from forest fires somewhere near us.
I have been praying for those affected by all these disasters-so much devastation.
I wanted to share some photos of what harvest looks like in this area of the world where I live…
God promised in Genesis 8:22,
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.
Jesus also addressed a different kind of harvest in Luke 10:2,
And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
Next week, on the blog, we’re going to begin a focus on Intentionality and Influence…
Where do you see yourself reaping a harvest for God’s Kingdom?
Have you ever considered how God may have planted within you a passion for the way that you can invite those around you into God’s Big Story for them and for you?
Come and walk with us as we discover more about what that might look like!
